Suspension Insulator LK 70/10-3 UHL1

LK insulators are designed for insulation and fastening of overhead power transmission line wires and in switchgear of AC power plants and substations. The insulators are manufactured in accordance with GOST 28856-90 "Linear suspension rod polymer insulators. General specifications" and TU 3494-002-69952820-2009 "Linear suspension rod polymer insulators of LK type". Service life is 40 years. Warranty period is 3 years. These insulators are characterized by high resistance to atmospheric and industrial pollution, acids and alkalis, ultraviolet radiation, tracking, electrical erosion. Fastening of the insulator end with a fiberglass rod is carried out by radial crimping in a multi-jaw machine. Such a connection has improved mechanical characteristics compared to other types of connections. The ultrasonic sensor built into the machine allows detecting the occurrence of end-piece failure and the appearance of cracks in the rod during the crimping process, which eliminates defects already at the production stage. The insulator design ensures high moisture resistance due to the use of the following design and technological solutions: - vulcanization of the protective shell on the insulating rod with pre-crimped end-pieces; - coating of end-pieces with the use of moisture-proof locks on them;
