Used in all types of water-based drilling fluids. Effective in both fresh and saline drilling systems. Reduces friction between the drilling tool and the borehole walls. Promotes free movement of the drilling assembly during tripping operations. Easily emulsifies in all water-based drilling fluid systems. Due to its non-foaming properties, it does not reduce the basic (rheological and structural) properties of the fluid in the active circulation volume. Modifies the filter cake. Is not subject to saponification at high pH.

PROLUBE is a mixture of a hydrocarbon base, active lubricating additives, and emulsifying components. It is a mandatory additive for all water-based drilling fluid systems used in oil and gas well drilling.
