The DC1500 Copper Colorimeter is a portable, microprocessor-controlled, direct-reading colorimeter designed for measuring copper concentration in water samples. It features a graphical liquid crystal display and 6-button keypad with menu-driven software. The instrument uses a colored LED with a corresponding silicon photodiode and integrated interference filter. The test method is based on cupric ions forming a yellow colored chelate with diethyldithiocarbamate around pH 9-10, proportional to copper concentration. The kit includes Copper 1 reagent (30 mL), colorimeter tubes with caps (set of 6), water sample collecting bottle, USB wall adapter, USB cable, manual, and quick start guide. Range: 0.0 to 6.0 ppm Copper.
