TTS08 Enhanced Torque & Tension Sub with Integrated Turns

The TTS08 is an Enhanced Torque & Tension Sub with Integrated Turns designed to support torque-turn control for connection make-up using top drive casing running tools. The wireless sub provides measured torque versus derived torque for higher accuracy. The system eliminates cable runs and encoder rig-up, reducing flat time between drilling and casing running. The sub transmits data wirelessly via 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence to a laptop with USB receiver. Data is formatted to integrate with torque/turn software or can be provided through the WINCATT® system. Existing TTS subs can be upgraded to include enhanced integrated turns. The sub is designed to API 8C standards and features a Type 4X watertight enclosure. The TTS08 is rated for hazardous area operation with Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D, T4 (North America) and ATEX Zone 1, IIB, T4 certification.
