PID-Analyzer is a portable gas analyzer that is highly sensitive in the detection and identification of volatile organic substances belonging to the BTEX group.

The main advantages of PID-Analyzer are its small size, high sensitivity and selectivity, mobility and versatility in use. PID-Analyzer uses a compact housing with protection class IP55 and performs all the functions necessary for analysis, from sampling, separation and analysis to data processing. During operation, carrier gas is not used, which reduces the cost of operation and ensures the mobile execution of the device.

PID-Analyzer is a trace analyzer for several substances that allows you to perform the tasks of detecting and identifying VOCs in the ppb range without preliminary methods to increase the concentration. The system allows with high sensitivity to carry out the functions of detecting VOCs similar to aromatic compounds (BTX or BTEX groups), but it also allows working with other gases whose ionization potential does not exceed 10.6 eV (a standard ultraviolet lamp is used). The main technologies used are a photoionization detector (PID) and a gas chromatographic column (GC).

The measurement results obtained using the PID-Analyzer are not affected by humidity; automatic and manual sampling and analysis modes are supported during measurements.

The use of two measurement methods (GC-PID) avoids the disadvantages of traditional methods based on photo-ionization detectors and effectively identifies various components. This is very important when assessing the hazard, since concentration measurements will only be performed when the necessary components are detected. In particular, this is important for those components that will not be captured by the GC-PID system.

The system uses a special photo-ionization sensor, which provides high sensitivity when measuring concentrations in the ppb range. Since there is no need to use a carrier gas, operating costs are reduced. PID-Analyzer can be used as a standalone or mobile analyzer, while it is possible to connect it to a personal computer using the appropriate data transfer interface.

PID-Analyzer has a user-friendly user interface that helps to detect and identify various volatile organic compounds.
