Scotchkote 352 HT anti-Corrosion Pipeline Coating
Material composition
The substance consists entirely of polyurethane, does not contain solvent or coal tar, which can adversely affect the performance of the product. This composition gives the material a number of features that have a positive effect on its operation.
Application area
Scotchkote coating is used for:
waterproofing of ground and underground structures;
ensuring waterproofing of metal pipelines and other surfaces;
ensuring the protection of objects for various purposes from an excess of moisture and the formation of corrosion.
Product properties
Scotchkote undergoes polymerization even at air temperatures below zero;
has a high rate of polymerization.
resistant to excess moisture and ultraviolet radiation;
can be used in tandem with coatings for anti-corrosion protection of the cathode;
does not exfoliate during cathodic polarization;
has high adhesion, which is maintained even under conditions of high humidity;
has the ability to instantly harden;
resistant to temperature changes.
Technical data sheet Scotchkote 352 HT
The basis of the technical component is determined by temperature indicators, compliance with which will ensure the creation of a high-quality coating.
Application temperature range | from -10°С to +35°С |
Operating temperature range | from +65°С to +100°С |

Recommendations for working with the material
Before applying the anti-corrosion compound to the work surface, it is pre-cleaned and treated with a primer. Scotchkote is mixed in proportions of 3 to 1. The material is applied to the surface with a brush or roller, without preliminary priming or intermediate drying. The application technology consists in layer-by-layer laying of the material on the base. The recommended layer thickness was no more than 1 mm.
