The MBU 100 drilling rig is designed for rotary and bottomhole drilling of production and exploratory wells, repair and restoration of oil and gas wells in macroclimatic regions with temperate and cold climates at ambient temperatures from minus 45 to plus 45 ° С.

Accommodation category 1 according to GOST 15150-69.

The depth of well drilling is 2200 m (when drilling a column of 28 kg / m). The conventional depth of wells during repair and development is 5000 meters (tubing 14 kg / m).

The installation consists of the following main blocks:
- a lifting block on an off-road chassis BAZ-69096, MZKT-7004-011.
- the mobile block of the drilling base and the receiving bridge are mounted on a three-axle trailer model OZTP-84703V.
