The cables are intended for transmission and distribution of electric power in stationary electrical installations at a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66 and 1 kV with a frequency of up to 100 Hz. The cables are manufactured for general industrial use and at nuclear power plants (NPP) outside the containment area in NPP systems of class 2 according to the NP-001 classification, for deliveries to the domestic market and for export, including to countries with a tropical climate. The cables are intended for cable power supply lines for NPP safety system equipment, electrical wiring of fire safety system circuits (fire alarm circuits, power supply for fire extinguishing pumps, lighting of emergency exits and evacuation routes, smoke removal and supply ventilation systems, evacuation lifts), including in explosion-hazardous zones of all classes except B1, for electrical wiring in hospital operating rooms, emergency power supply circuits and power supply for equipment (current collectors) operating during a fire. VVGng(A)-FRLS is a cable with copper conductors, with a thermal barrier made of mica-containing tapes, with insulation and sheath made of low-fire-hazard polyvinyl chloride plastic, with a common screen made of copper tapes under the sheath.

Fire hazard class according to GOST 31565-2012: П1б.7.2.2.2.
Climatic version UHL and T, placement categories 1-5 according to GOST 15150-69.
Operating temperature range from minus 50 °C to +50 °C.
Relative air humidity at a temperature of +35 °C up to 98%.
Laying and installation of cables without preliminary heating is carried out at a temperature not lower than minus 15 °C.
Permissible heating temperature of the cores during operation:
- long-term - no more than +70 °C;
- in overload mode – no more than +90 °C;
- permissible during a short circuit no more than +250 °C (the duration of a short circuit should not exceed 5 sec.);
- the maximum temperature under the condition of non-ignition of cables during a short circuit is no more than +400 °C.
Test voltage at 50 Hz:
- for voltage 0.66 kV - 3 kV;
- for voltage of 1 kV - 3.5 kV;
The electrical resistance of current-carrying cores, recalculated for 1 km of cable length and a temperature of +20 °C, complies with GOST 22483-2012.
Minimum bending radius for gasket and installation:
- single-core cables - 10 cable diameters;
- multi-core cables - 7.5 cable diameters;
Smoke formation during combustion and smoldering does not lead to a decrease in light transmittance in the test chamber by more than 50%.
The value of the equivalent toxicity index of cable combustion products is no more than 40 g/ m3 .
Fire resistance not less than 180 minutes.
Cables do not spread combustion when laid in groups according to category A.
The construction length of cables is specified when ordering.
The warranty period is 5 years from the date of commissioning of the cable, but not later than 6 months from the date of manufacture;
Service life of at least 30 years.
