The DRIERITE® Laboratory Air and Gas Drying Unit is a plastic drying tube designed for small-scale laboratory applications. It dries air and gases with Indicating DRIERITE® desiccant. The unit features a rubber hose connection providing an immediate flow of dry gas. The indicating desiccant changes from blue to pink when exhausted, providing constant visual assurance of active desiccant. Applications include vent driers on reagent bottles, reaction apparatus, instrument compartments, sample preparation, gravimetric determination of water vapor, and drying of gases for purging and blanketing of moisture sensitive materials.
