Aircraft Il-96-300 / Il-96-400
Il-96-300
The Il-96-300 is a wide-body long-range aircraft designed to carry up to 300 passengers, baggage and cargo on long-haul flights. The aerodynamic configuration, design and systems of the aircraft incorporate solutions that ensure a high level of safety and operational efficiency. The onboard flight and navigation system provides automation of aircraft navigation in adverse weather conditions over any areas of the globe and automatic landing according to ICAO categories IIIA and IIIB. All information on the operation of onboard systems, piloting and navigation systems is displayed on six color multifunctional displays.
The aircraft is equipped with PS-90A engines that comply with the requirements of Appendix 16 Chapter 4 of the ICAO on noise on the ground.
The large-diameter fuselage houses two decks: an upper passenger deck and a lower cargo deck. The passenger cabin, equipped with a video projection system, provides passengers with a high level of comfort on long-haul flights. The cargo deck, equipped with a floor roller system, can accommodate containers or pallets.

Il-96-400
The Il-96-400M is being developed on the basis of the serial Il-96-300 aircraft for the purpose of further improving this type of aircraft, expanding the geography of operation and transport capabilities through the modernization and import substitution of flight and navigation and radio communication equipment, lengthening the fuselage by 9.35 meters and installing more powerful PS-90A1 engines instead of the PS-90A. The aerodynamic configuration, design and systems of the aircraft incorporate solutions that ensure a high level of safety and operational efficiency. Modern flight and navigation and radio communication equipment will enable the aircraft to meet current and future requirements of international aviation authorities for navigation, surveillance and communication systems.
The Il-96-400M will be able to carry up to 370 passengers. The passenger cabin is equipped with a modern information and entertainment system providing access to the Internet, television and satellite communications, luggage racks, and modern buffet and kitchen equipment.
The Il-96-400M is being developed in cooperation with leading Russian developers of systems and equipment, with the largest volume of components supplied by enterprises of the Rostec State Corporation.
